THE COMPANY

InterCar SpA has been manufacturing brake discs since 1971, when its plant was first opened in Cazzago S. Martino, near Brescia. The plant now covers an area of 20.000 sqm and brake discs production has followed the tecnological innovations introduced by all major manufacturers.
The merger originated a link with OMR Group (Officine Meccaniche Rezzatesi), a leading supplier of assemblies and sub-assemblies to major automotive manufacturers. This alliance has given InterCar the best opportunities in the first equipment business, which today represents an important share of the Company turnover, both in the passenger cars and in the commercial vehicles sector.

PRODUCTION AND QUALITY GURANTEE

InterCar brake discs are manufactured with the latest technology and state-of-the-art machinery in the field of production systems. These rely on electronic checks and controls that greately reduce the amount of manual work by the operator and accordingly also the likelihood of errors in the production process. The raw materials and the components employed are kept under constant control by the quality department with chemical and metallographic analysis, to ensure the best security and precision of each material. Special checks by SPC (Statistic Process Control) electronic equipment ensure that INTERCAR brake discs provide a satisfactory alternative to the original product. Checks carried out during and after the manufacturing process are clear evidence of  high quality. The experience gained since production first started has been carefully recorded and exploided to offer a top quality product which is, above all, totally reliable.

QUALITY CERTIFICATES

Quality for InterCar is a constant research that lately led to the “Certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000”, obtained through the DNV-SINCERT, the main Certification’s Institute on a worldwide basis. The certification we obtained, even if is a merely formal act, is the demonstration of the constant research that INTERCAR continuously carries out to improve its technological standards. Together with the ISO 9001, INTERCAR obtained, in accordance to the German regulations, the homologation from TÜV of PFALZ, that was released through the KRAFTFAHRT-BUNDESAMT, the ABE certifications with the KBA 60868 and KBA 60869 trade marks.
